RT2T paper appeared on the cover of the August edition of Nature Genetics.

"The Ruminant Telomere-to-Telomere (RT2T) Consortium" has been published in Nature Genetics! This incredible achievement highlights a National collaborative effort to generate complete diploid assemblies for numerous ruminant species, providing new insights into chromosomal evolution and the genetic basis of traits important for livestock production and domestication.

Cattle and sheep T2T Y chromosomes were published in Nature Communications

This study refers to a complete, telomere-to-telomere sequence of the sheep and cattle Y chromosome, meaning the entire chromosome has been sequenced without gaps, providing a comprehensive view of its genetic structure, including the often complex and repetitive regions, which is particularly important for studying sex determination and evolution in sheep and cattle.
